This former model home had great bones and homeowners with a clear vision for making it their own. What began with custom architectural features grew into a whole home transformation, blending dramatic built-ins and accent walls with new paint, furniture, window treatments, rugs, and layers of carefully selected decor. The result is polished and sophisticated, but still warm, comfortable, and completely personal.

The project began with ideas for custom built-ins and feature walls that needed to be translated into detailed architectural drawings for construction. From the living room media wall and office built-ins to the primary bedroom fireplace and custom molding treatments throughout the home, each feature was designed to feel intentional and integrated with the architecture.

After six years as a former model home, the interior was ready for a refresh. Dated and damaged wallpaper was removed, most of the home was repainted, and new molding and fluted wall treatments were added throughout. A warm neutral palette with strategically placed darker accents created continuity while allowing each room to have its own personality.

Furniture was selected room by room to balance the homeowners’ love of modern pieces with the traditional elements already present in the home. Carefully curated options made the selection process manageable while creating comfortable, functional spaces that feel connected without looking overly coordinated.

New rugs and window treatments added softness, texture, and another layer of continuity throughout the home. Nearly all of the existing curtains were replaced with updated fabrics and styles chosen to complement each room while maintaining a cohesive whole home palette.

The final layer brought everything together, artwork, bedding, pillows, throws, lamps, greenery, centerpieces, and accessories. From styling expansive built-in shelves to creating the right scale of centerpiece for the oversized kitchen island, every finishing detail was selected and placed to make the home feel complete.
